Opening Day for the BOSTON RED SOX. It’s a cold gray breezy day and we are out installing graphics for LAMBERT’S GARDEN CENTER in Westwood. This time we are updating a sign we originally did 10 years ago with a new red color. Good thing the boom truck has a heated bucket!

65 years ago four brothers had an idea to offer the best fruits and vegetables in the Boston area. Two of the brothers were getting out of the Navy, one was getting out of the Army and one was getting out of high school. They grew up in the south end of Boston and dreamed of owning a business in their back yard. All four pitched in, bought a truck and started out on Morrissey blvd. in Dorchester; before the Boston Globe, before Channel 56, before U Mass and B.C. high school were there. Lambert’s still there today bigger and better than ever.
